WARRANTY: With the exception of the batteries, Drover electric cars are guaranteed for two years against faulty parts and workmanship.

BATTERY  WARRANTY: The batteries are guaranteed for a period of 12 months only. Although the batteries are maintenance free it is essential that they are treated with respect. Each car is fitted with a battery charge indicator which should be checked regularly (at least weekly) if the car is not in constant use, and recharged if the indicator shows less than full charge. Remember that storing a discharged battery over a lengthy period may render it unserviceable, always use it, charge it, store it.

If the car is garaged in a suitably dry building, it does no harm to leave the battery charger connected over long periods as it will not overcharge.

How long can you drive for on one charge? It`s like asking how long is a piece of string. The rate at which the batteries are discharged depends on many factors: speed, rate of acceleration, hill climbing or flat terrain, load carried, towing a trailer or not and the state of the initial battery charge not forgetting the use of the horn and the radio. However with average stop-start use on level ground it should be possible to get a days use - say 4 or 5 hours.

OWNERS MANUAL: Each car is supplied with a comprehensive operating manual which gives safe operating instructions and a list of do`s and don`ts and servicing instructions.

WE ARE HERE TO HELP: In the unlikely event of something going wrong we are only a phone call away and eager to help resolve any problem. An engineer will attend to any genuine fault pronto free of charge during the warranty period, and thereafter at pre-agreed rates.

WHAT WE DON`T COVER: Wilful or accidental damage. We cannot be held responsible for wilful acts of damage, vandalism or neglect. If your little darlings decide to pressure wash the CD player slot or crash head on with that large tree in the garden then you will probably have to pay for the damage, similarly failure to carry out simple maintenance checks such as tyre pressures and wheel security.
